The deal
ShowHippo is free during early access. If we ever need to charge for the app to keep the lights on, early users will receive notice and a friendly discount.
You own your data: your listings, your applicants, your history. Export or delete it anytime.
Don't use ShowHippo to spam people or break housing laws. Showing notices and fair-housing rules are your responsibility; we just help you keep up with them.
The honest part
This is early software. Things may break or not work as intended. Let us know and we'll fix things quickly, hopefully within 24hrs.
We may change features as we learn but we will give you a heads up for anything major.
Will it last? Yes. ShowHippo grew out of our management company and we continue to use and evolve the software.
The limits
ShowHippo is provided as-is, with no warranties. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or that all messages, like an entry notice, will go through.
ShowHippo is a scheduling tool, not legal advice.
To the extent the law allows, ShowHippo isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost rent, a missed showing, or a vacant unit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the prior 12 months or $100.
If someone brings a claim against ShowHippo because of how you used it, such as messages you sent or a showing you ran, you agree to cover it.
These terms are governed by Vermont law, and any dispute will be handled in the state courts in Chittenden County, Vermont.
The exit
Leave whenever you like. You can delete your account and data. If we ever wind down, you'll get your data and plenty of notice first.
The program
ShowHippo serves property managers and owners. By opting in to our messaging service, you agree to send and receive text messages and/or emails related to scheduling and confirming property showings.
Messages include scheduling confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. Message frequency varies based on your showing activity.
Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP at any time. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages via ShowHippo.
